Safety

Providing a safe work environment is of the utmost value to BE&K Europe.

BE&K Europe’s outstanding safety results are based on a strong conviction that each accident can be prevented. With appropriate safety procedures in place and the dedication of all employees towards preventive measures, the risk of an accident can be reduced to a minimum.

Our focus on safe work conditions is well reflected in the corporate safety statistics which, for many years now, has placed BE&K Europe at the top of the corporate ranking for its impressive safety statistics. One of the factors contributing to the achievement of such good results is the “No one gets hurt” safety program implemented in 2010. A system of prizes and gifts has been introduced to recognize employees standing out as far as the compliance with safety principles and the promotion of safe work and environment protection are concerned.

Performing an assessment of occupational risks on all work stations allowed us to undertake necessary preventive actions. BE&K conducts continuous risk monitoring in work areas. Any deviations from the requirements are eliminated in accordance with the implemented procedures.

Beside the preventive measures, procedures and other actions targeting the improvement of safe work conditions, BE&K Europe devotes a lot of attention to safety training of employees.

BE&K Europe personnel is engaged in a continuous safety training program that consists of:

  • Basic safety training for new-hires (craftsmen):
    • safety orientation organized and conducted by the company Safety Department
    • specialty safety trainings for particular work stations organized and conducted by the supervisors in the hiring department
