Construction and Fabrication Services

Before we mobilize our forces at any project, we carry out a detailed analysis to anticipate potential problems and threats, and resolve them before the project begins. This proactive approach helps BE&K successfully complete complex tasks safely, on time and within budget constraints.

Our employment policies, along with intensive training programs, allow us to retain specialized and highly skilled employees. When needed, we select qualified subcontractors for specialty trade items based on the most economical approach available.

The scope of construction services and fabrications includes e.g.:

• fabrication, repair and erection of pressure and non-pressure vessels subject to PED 97/23/EC, both shop and field erected
• fabrication, repair and erection of process transportation systems (pipelines: e.g. steam and hot water pipelines, band conveyors, bucket conveyors, screw conveyors, rotary feeders, dampers etc.)
• fabrication, repair and erection of stainless and carbon steel structures, including pipe bridges, platforms, stairs, ladders, walkways, railings, supports, frames, stacks, complex steel structures, production halls and industrial facilities
• fabrication, repair and erection of aluminum, titanium and DUPLEX steel structures
• fabrication, repair and erection of crane equipment elements (subject to UDT* approval)
• installation of electrical, instrumentation and automation systems
• installation of fire protection and HVAC systems
• erection of dust extraction and sulfur removal systems
• relocation and erection of industrial machines and equipment
• erection of complete process lines
• fabrication, repair and erection of waste water treatment plant equipment
• welding, fitting, milling, grinding and turning services
• engineering and consulting services
• turn-key projects 

Welding and joining techniques used:

• manual welding with shielded electrodes (111)
• semi-automatic welding, MIG – Metal Inert Gas purge (131), MAG – Metal Active Gas purge (135), neutral gas purge, CO2 and gas mix purge, solid wires or flux wires (136)
• TIG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas purge)
• bolting
• riveting

Additionally, the scope of services includes:

• erection of heat insulations
• fabrication, repair and erection of FRP pipelines
• sandblasting and painting (synthetic, frost-proof and zinc-silicone based paints)
• pickling and passivation of stainless steel elements
• water jet cutting
• plasma arc/gas cutting (on a digitally controlled plasma arc/gas cutting machine)
